Barry Wood and his ministries have been active in missions, primarily in Africa & Latin America, for over 39 years now. They are primarily focused on training indigenous missionaries to win their people to Christ, educating youth & churches on HIV-AIDS awareness and Biblical abstinence.

 

Mike Earsing is President of Jesuit College Prep and has served Jesuit Dallas for 30 years, first as a chemistry and history teacher from 1978-1980, then as assistant principal (discipline) from 1980 to 1994, director of community service and senior counselor from 1995 through 1997, and principal of the school since 1997.

 

Bishop Deshotel was born in Basile, Louisiana. He studied at Holy Trinity Seminary and was ordained a priest on May 13, 1978. Bishop Deshotel was appointed Auxiliary Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Dallas as well as titular bishop of Cova on March 11, 2010 by Pope Benedict XVI.

 

Fr. Peter Verhalen (CPS ’73) was born in Texas in 1955, and he entered Our Lady of Dallas in August 1975. He made his solemn profession in 1980 and was ordained to the priesthood in April of the same year. Fr. Peter teaches Latin and theology at the school. He served as headmaster of the school until he was elected abbot of Our Lady of Dallas in the spring of 2012.

 

Mike and Jody Coffey count as a blessing the opportunity to assist engaged couples at Christ the King! Drawing upon training in FOCCUS and “For Better and For Ever,” Jody and Mike have coached nearly 200 engaged couples over the last six years as they prepare to receive the Sacrament of Marriage. While watching the couples grow in their relationship has been very rewarding, the ministry has also nourished their relationship as they journey together to A Better Us.

 

Dr. Blair Ritchey is the Executive Director of ISF, a Dallas-based foundation serving orphans and aged-out foster care youth with scholarships, mentoring and leadership development. Dr. Blair has had a distinguished 36-year career in church work, focusing on church multiplication and leadership development. He holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary, a Masters of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary and a Bachelors degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. Dr. Blair and his wife Helen reside in Allen, TX.
